Mark D. Torke, M.D.

Specializes in general orthopaedics including fracture care, arthroscopy, pediatric orthopaedics and joint replacements (partial and total).
EDUCATION:
Dr. Torke graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry. He completed medical school (M.D.) at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine. He completed a general surgery internship and orthopaedic residency at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. Dr. Torke also completed a pediatric orthopaedic residency at the Alfred I. Dupont Institute.
CERTIFICATIONS:
Dr. Torke is Board Certified through the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (ABOS).
ASSOCIATIONS & APPOINTMENTS:
Dr. Torke is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) and the American College of Surgeons (ACS). He holds a teaching appointment with the University of South Florida/ Morton Plant Mease Family Residency Program and Barry University Physician Assistant Program.
Dr. Torke is a consultant for the Toronto Blue Jays of Major League Baseball and the Dunedin Blue Jays minor league baseball team.

Dr. Torke is on-staff at Mease Countryside and Mease Dunedin Hospitals (BayCare Health System), Mease Ambulatory Surgery Center and HCA Countryside Surgery Center.
