He graduate from B.J. Medical School in Pune, India. Nishin S. Tambay, M.D. did his internship in Internal Medicine at the Weiss Memorial Hospital in Northside affiliate of University of Chicago in Chicago, IL. He then completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Rush Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center also in Chicago, IL. Nishin S. Tambay, M.D. He did a fellowship in Sports & Electrodiagnostic Medicine at the Michigan State University and the other fellowship in Interventional Spine and Pain Medicine at the Alabama Orthopaedics and Spine Center.
He provides sports medicine services to Major League Baseball, National Football League, Association of Tennis Professionals, Women’s Tennis Association, The LPGA, Arena Football League, and collegiate, high school and recreational athletes. He is a Preferred Provider for the Toronto Blue Jays. He lectures and teaches physicians, medical students and physical therapists.
Dr. Tambay prefers a non-narcotic approach to managing his patients’ pain symptoms.
