Dr. Mirabello graduated Magna Cum Laude from Columbia University with a Bachelor of Science degree. He completed medical school (M.D.) at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Mirabello completed a surgical internship through the UCLA training program in Santa Barbara, California. He completed his orthopaedic residency at the Hospital for Joint Diseases in Manhattan, New York. Fellowship training in sports medicine with a focus in shoulder surgery was completed under Drs. James Andrews and William Clancy in Birmingham, Alabama.
Dr. Mirabello is Board Certified through the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (ABOS).

Dr. Mirabello is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), the American College of Surgeons (ACS), The American Sports Medicine Fellowship Society, the Arthroscopy Association of North America, and is an Associate Member of the Association of Major League Baseball Team Physicians
Dr. Mirabello is the Orthopaedic Surgeon for the Toronto Blue Jays of Major League Baseball. He a consulting physician for the Philadelphia Phillies and team physician for the Dunedin Blue Jays minor league baseball team.
Dr. Mirabello is on-staff at Mease Countryside and Mease Dunedin Hospitals (BayCare Health System), Mease Ambulatory Surgery Center, BayCare Trinity Surgery Center, HCA Countryside Surgery Center, and New Port Richey Surgery Center.
